HAALAND CALLS BURNLEY CLASH A ‘FINAL’ AFTER MAN CITY CLOSES GAP ON ARSENAL.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has labelled his side’s next Premier League
fixture as a “final” after their 2-1 win over Arsenal reignited the title race.
Haaland scored the decisive goal at the Etihad Stadium as City moved within three
points of the leaders, with a game in hand that could prove crucial in the run-in.
Another victory against Burnley would see Pep Guardiola’s side draw level on points
with Arsenal and potentially go top on goal difference.
“On Wednesday, we’re having a final. The Burnley game is as important as this
game,” Haaland said. “We need to focus, stay humble.”
With momentum firmly on their side, City now have a clear path to the summit, while
Arsenal face mounting pressure as the title race intensifies.
