Crystal Palace eased to a 3-0 victory over Shelbourne in Dublin, moving within a point of the top eight in the UEFA Conference League.
The Eagles settled quickly in difficult conditions and soon took control, with Eddie Nketiah setting up Christantus Uche for the opener just 11 minutes into the striker’s first start.
Palace doubled their lead midway through the half when Yeremy Pino’s through ball sent Uche stretching toward goal, the effort rebounding off the post for Nketiah to finish.
The visitors stayed firmly on top, and Pino added a superb third before the break with a driving run and low strike into the corner.
Oliver Glasner’s side continued to dominate after the restart, forcing several saves from Wessel Speel and going close through Romain Esse, Jefferson Lerma and Chris Richards.
The only setback came with Justin Devenny’s late injury, though it allowed 17-year-old Benji Casey to make his senior debut.
Palace’s third straight win in all competitions lifts them to ninth for now, while Shelbourne remain bottom with one point and no goals.
