GYOKERES, 16-YEAR-OLD DOWMAN FIRE ARSENAL PAST EVERTON.

Viktor Gyokeres and teenage sensation Max Dowman struck late as Arsenal edged
Everton 2-0 to move 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
The breakthrough came in the 89 th minute when Gyokeres tapped in after Jordan
Pickford misjudged a cross into the box.
With Everton pushing forward for an equaliser, 16-year-old Dowman raced clear in
stoppage time and rolled the ball into an empty net to seal the win, becoming the
youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.
Everton had earlier threatened through Dwight McNeil, who struck the post after
being denied by a crucial block by Riccardo Calafiori.
Arsenal now sit 10 points clear of Manchester City, who face West Ham later at the
London Stadium (21:00 WAT).
