Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expects an “unpredictable” Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona on Sunday following his side’s 3-0 semi-final win over Mallorca.
Goals from Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo sealed Real’s spot, while Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in the other semi-final.
“The Clasico has been unpredictable recently,” Ancelotti said. “We’ve had big wins like 4-1 in the last Super Cup and 4-0 in Barcelona, but they also beat us 4-0 at the Bernabeu. It will be a game of high quality, and we aim to come out on top.”
Real broke the deadlock against Mallorca after the hour mark through Bellingham, who capped off a well-executed team move.
Despite a slow start, Ancelotti praised his team’s resilience against a defensively solid Mallorca side.
Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was substituted after a head clash, while Bellingham and Federico Valverde managed minor knocks during the game.
Ancelotti assured fans their fitness would be monitored closely ahead of the final.
