Barcelona manager Hansi Flick hailed his team’s resilience after their hard-fought 1-0 Champions League win at Benfica, despite playing most of the match with 10 men.
An early red card for 18-year-old Pau Cubarsí put Barça under pressure, but Raphinha’s second-half strike secured the victory.
Flick praised his team’s defensive discipline and highlighted goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny’s heroics.
“We defended as a team, and the response was fantastic,” Flick said. “Benfica are a strong side, and the job isn’t finished yet.”
