INTER MILAN COMPLETE DOMESTIC DOUBLE WITH COPPA ITALIA TRIUMPH.

Inter Milan secured a historic domestic double after defeating SS Lazio 2-0 in the
Coppa Italia finale al Stadio Olimpico.

The victory handed Inter a milestone 10th Coppa Italia crown and completed their
first Serie A and Coppa Italia double since 2010.

The Nerazzurri took control early when Federico Dimarco’s corner deflected into the
net off Adam Marusic after a flick from Marcus Thuram.

Inter’s relentless pressing then produced a second goal before half-time as Denzel
Dumfries robbed Nuno Tavares and squared for Lautaro Martínez to finish from close
range.

Lazio improved after the break and threatened through Tijjani Noslin and Boulaye
Dia, but Inter comfortably held firm to seal another trophy under coach Cristian
Chivu.

The result also leaves Lazio’s hopes of European qualification hanging by a thread.
