Manchester City FC reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-1 victory over
Newcastle United FC at St James’ Park.
Despite making 10 changes to his starting line-up, manager Pep Guardiola saw his
side recover from an early setback after Harvey Barnes put Newcastle ahead.
Savinho equalised before Omar Marmoush struck twice in the second half to seal the
comeback victory.
The win sends City into the last eight as they continue their push for silverware this
season.
