PEREZ PROMISES MOURINHO RETURN IF RE-ELECTED REAL MADRID PRESIDENT.

Florentino Perez has pledged to bring Jose Mourinho back to Real Madrid if he wins
Sunday’s presidential election, making the Portuguese coach the headline promise
of his campaign.

The current president announced the plan through a social media video featuring
Mourinho simply saying “Yes!”, accompanied by the slogan “So much history to be
made.”

Perez is seeking another term after a disappointing season in which Real Madrid
failed to win major silverware and exited the Champions League at the quarter-final
stage.

Mourinho previously enjoyed a successful spell at the Bernabeu, leading the club to
a record-breaking LaLiga title in 2012.

The move would mark a stunning return for the veteran coach, who has since
managed Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Roma, Fenerbahce, and Benfica.

Perez believes Mourinho can restore the winning edge to a star-studded squad
featuring Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Jude Bellingham.
