PSG GRINDS OUT IMPORTANT WIN AGAINST BREST TO CLOSE IN ON LIGUE 1TITLE.

Paris Saint-Germain moved to the brink of another Ligue 1 crown after battling to a
narrow 1-0 victory over Brest at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.

Fresh from booking their place in the UEFA Champions League final, Luis Enrique
rotated heavily, but PSG still managed to secure a crucial result thanks to Desire
Doue’s late winner.

The breakthrough arrived in the 82nd minute when Doue drilled a low strike beyond
Gregoire Coudert, after PSG had wasted several earlier opportunities.

Goncalo Ramos, Lucas Hernandez, and Senny Mayulu all went close for the hosts,
while Brest struggled to seriously trouble PSG despite the changes made by the
French champions.

The victory leaves PSG just one point away from securing a fifth consecutive Ligue 1
title.
