Bayern Munich maintained their flawless start to the season with a 5-1 win over Pafos in Cyprus, extending their unbeaten run in the Champions League to 16 matches against first-time opponents.
Harry Kane opened the scoring after striking the post with an overhead kick earlier, before Raphael Guerreiro and Nicolas Jackson made it 3-0 inside half an hour.
Kane added his second soon after, only for Mislav Oršić to pull one back with a thunderous strike from distance.
Bayern continued to dominate after the break. Michael Olise capped a lively display by scoring their fifth following another Michail save.
The Bavarians struck the post twice late on but were already well clear as they made it two wins from two in the group.
For Pafos, who drew with Olympiacos in their UCL debut, this heavy defeat was a harsh reminder of the step up in quality at Europe’s top level.
