Inter Milan made it two wins from two in the Champions League with a commanding 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague at San Siro, extending the Czech side’s winless away run against Italian clubs to nine matches.

The breakthrough came midway through the first half when Lautaro Martínez punished a misplaced pass in the Slavia box to slot home. Inter quickly doubled their lead as Marcus Thuram’s mazy run set up Denzel Dumfries for a simple finish.

Martínez added his second after the break, rounding off a swift counter-attack involving Thuram and Alessandro Bastoni

With the game effectively sealed, Cristian Chivu rotated his side ahead of domestic duties, while Slavia rarely threatened, their best effort a late long-range strike comfortably saved by Yann Sommer.

The Nerazzurri’s perfect start puts them firmly on course for the knockouts, while Slavia remain without a point ahead of their derby against Sparta Prague.
