LUIS ENRIQUE PRAISES PSG MENTALITY AFTER TITLE-CLINCHING WIN.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique praised his side’s mentality after their 2-0
victory over RC Lens sealed a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title on Wednesday.

Goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Ibrahim Mbaye secured the crucial
win as PSG wrapped up the title race with one game remaining.

Luis Enrique admitted PSG spent more time defending than usual, but said the
performance showed the team’s ability to win in different ways.

“If you want to win trophies, you have to dominate both offensively and defensively.”
He said. “The team today showed the mentality it needs to win.”

The Spaniard described the latest title as the toughest of his three seasons in Paris,
praising Lens for pushing PSG throughout the campaign.

PSG will finish their league season against rivals Paris FC before turning their focus
to the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal later this month.
