BARCELONA EDGE OSASUNA TO MOVE CLOSER TO LA LIGA TITLE.
FC Barcelona moved a step closer to the LaLiga title after grinding out a 2-1 victory
over CA Osasuna at El Sadar.
After a frustrating first half, Robert Lewandowski finally broke the deadlock late on
with a powerful header from Marcus Rashford’s cross.
Ferran Torres added a second shortly after, before Raul García pulled one back for
Osasuna in stoppage time.
Barcelona dominated possession for long spells but struggled to create clear
chances until the closing stages.
“It was an important win for us,” Lewandowski said after the match as Barca moved
closer to sealing the league crown.
The result leaves Barcelona 14 points clear at the top ahead of a potential title-
clinching clash against rivals Real Madrid CF next weekend.
