PSG LOSE HAKIMI FOR BAYERN SECOND LEG AFTER INJURY
Paris Saint-Germain will be without Achraf Hakimi for their Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich after the defender suffered a thigh injury.
Hakimi picked up the problem during PSG’s dramatic 5-4 first-leg win, where he assisted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for the French side’s fourth goal.
The Morocco international completed the match despite discomfort, with PSG having already used all their substitutions.
The club confirmed the 27-year-old will be sidelined for several weeks, ruling him out of next week’s decisive trip to Munich.
PSG have also been hit by another setback, with goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier sustaining a thigh injury in training that will keep him out for the coming weeks.
The Ligue 1 leaders will now turn their focus to a league fixture against Lorient before travelling to Germany with a narrow one-goal advantage.
