REAL MADRID ENDS SEASON WITH ATHLETIC CLUB WIN AS CARVAJAL BOWS OUT.

Real Madrid FC closed their LaLiga campaign with a 4-2 victory over Athletic Club as
club legend Dani Carvajal made his farewell appearance at the Bernabeu.

The veteran right-back marked his 451st and final game for Real with a brilliant assist
for Gonzalo García’s opener before Jude Bellingham added a second before half-
time.

Athletic briefly responded through Gorka Guruzeta, but Kylian Mbappé restored
Real’s control with his 25 th league goal of the season early in the second half.

Substitute Brahim Díaz added a late fourth before Athletic grabbed a consolation
through Urko Izeta.

“It was a special night to say goodbye,” Carvajal said after helping Real secure a
third consecutive league wins to close the campaign.

The result saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side finish second behind FC Barcelona, while
Athletic missed out on a sixth straight top-half finish.
