BAYERN CRUSH STUTTGART TO LIFT DFB-POKAL.
FC Bayern Munich ended their domestic season in style with a commanding 3-0
victory over VfB Stuttgart to win the DFB-Pokal for the first time since 2020.
After surviving early pressure from Stuttgart in Berlin, Bayern took control in the
second half through Harry Kane, who headed home the opener from Michael Olise’s
cross.
Kane struck again late on with a composed finish before sealing his hat-trick from the
penalty spot to complete a dominant evening for the Bundesliga champions.
“It’s special to finish the season with another trophy,” Kane said after the final whistle.
The victory secured Bayern’s 21st German Cup crown and capped a remarkable
campaign in which they scored a record 139 goals across league and cup
competitions.
Despite the defeat, Stuttgart will return to the UEFA Champions League next season
after an impressive domestic run.
