REAL MADRID SET TO TRIGGER DUMFRIES RELEASE CLAUSE.
Real Madrid is reportedly set to activate Denzel Dumfries’ €25 million release
clause, with the Inter Milan defender expected to become the club’s first signing of
the summer.
The Dutch international is viewed as a long-term successor to Dani Carvajal and is
expected to provide competition for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.
Dumfries has established himself as one of Europe’s most reliable full-backs during
his time at Inter, combining attacking threat with strong defensive qualities.
At €25 million, the deal is considered a bargain for a player with extensive
experience at the highest level, and Real Madrid believes he can make an immediate
impact as they strengthen their squad for the new season.
The move is expected to be finalised once the release clause is formally triggered.
