Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered a penalty masterclass to hand Paris FC a stunning 5-4 shootout win over Paris Saint-Germain and clinch the Coupe de France title in Calais on Saturday.

After a goalless 90 minutes at Stade de l’Epopée, the final was settled from the spot, where Nnadozie denied Korbin Albert and Jade Le Guilly to crown her side champions for only the second time in their history.

The Nigeria international had already been in imperious form during regulation time, making a string of superb saves to keep the reigning champions at bay and force penalties.

It capped a remarkable season for Nnadozie, who has now kept 12 clean sheets, guiding Paris FC into the UEFA Women’s Champions League and a playoff berth in the domestic league.

Her heroics come just as Paris FC’s men sealed promotion to Ligue 1 for the first time in 46 years—a weekend to remember for a club recently bought by the billionaire Arnault family.

With a move to Everton on the horizon, Nnadozie’s form is also timely for Nigeria, as they look to reclaim the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July after their worst-ever showing in 2022.
