New Nigeria national football team winger Femi Azeez enjoyed a dream debut after
scoring twice in a 2-0 win over the Zimbabwe national football team to send the Super
Eagles into the Unity Cup final in London.

The Millwall forward, one of several debutants named by coach Eric Chelle, struck in
each half at The Valley to seal Nigeria’s place in Saturday’s final.

Terem Moffi captained the side in the absence of Wilfred Ndidi and played a key role
in both goals, setting up Azeez’s opener before helping launch the counterattack for
the second.

Nigeria dominated early on but had to withstand improved pressure from Zimbabwe
after the break, with goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo producing important saves to
preserve the lead.

Chelle later introduced Rafiu Durosinmi, Tosin Oyedokun, and Oseni Owen as the
Super Eagles comfortably saw out the victory.

Nigeria will now face either Jamaica or India in the final.
