RICE PROUD AS ARSENAL REACH UCL SEMI-FINAL.
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice praised the Gunners for reaching back-to-back
Champions League semi-finals after a 0-0 draw against Sporting CP sealed a 1-0
aggregate win.
Kai Havertz’s first-leg goal proved decisive as Arsenal booked a last-four clash with
Atletico Madrid.
Rice called the achievement “an amazing one for the group and said the team now
want to “go one step further” by reaching the final.
The midfielder also dismissed outside criticism, insisting, “who cares what people
think” as Arsenal focus on their own standards.
Despite progress, the Gunners head into a crucial Premier League clash with
Manchester City on mixed form, having won just one of their last five matches.
